This is two months

Two months is awesome. Weighing in at 12 lbs 11 oz (80%) and 24 inches (97%), Charlotte is head holding and interacting - and it's a lot of fun.

Week 5 brought on a growth spurt that resulted in hour long nursing sessions every 2 or 3 hours. It was crazy. One day was particularly crazy and Charlotte was either nursing or crying the entire day. She did not nap - at all. But, she was true to herself and went to bed at a reasonable hour, and then we all slept.
Sweet Charlotte
Week 6 I took the girls to Florida. This was the week that her smiles came out in full force and she started responding to what we said with sweet coos. The week 5 growth spurt treated us well after all! So adorable. In Florida, Charlotte nursed every 2 hours. My mom thought because of the heat and fresh air.

Lucy loves her to death - don't squeeze too tight!
Week 7 we got back on our little schedule. One day we went downtown and she attended her very first trade meeting. She did great! The drive back out of town reminded me how awful the Washington commute is, and Charlotte agreed with angry cries.

Good technique, Lucy!

Week 8, and all is great. She's a thriving, healthy baby. Lucy has really taken to being a big sister. She "helps" with diaper changes, bath time, pushing the stroller, etc.

Next week I go back to work for a period of time and Andrew and others will take care of Charlotte at home during the day. Will be an exciting month of all!

That face! Those expressions!
