Last year was our first Halloween in our new house and we were so excited to hand out candy. Andrew went out and picked up lots of goodies, and we sat out front in our fold-up chairs, wine glasses in hand, and anxiously awaited the trick-or-treaters. After 30 minutes or more of waiting for little goblins, our neighbors with little Leo walked by and told us that all of Old Town goes to Lee Street. So we turned off our lights and headed that way. It's amazing. They close down Lee Street between King and Gibbon (last year it went to Franklin) and most of the homes on Lee go big. Decorations like it's Christmas. Reminds me of State Street in Madison, but for kids-not under-agers.
I was so excited to take Lucy this year. I tried to find something online to get details on exact time, but there is nothing to be found. Maybe that's on purpose...
