Andrew was out golfing that afternoon and got home a bit late but we still wanted to check out Society Fair. While waiting for him I had already eaten something, so we just ordered apps and wine. I loved that they offered a 4 oz glass of wine - perfect for pregnant me. And they pour it into a beaker to measure it. Kind of fun. As we waited for the apps, Andrew looked at his watch and thought we were good on time before the show started. Apparently his watch had broken and next thing you know it was 7 mins til show time. We paid (never got the apps) and ran out.
The Little Theater is 3 blocks from Society Fair, and we made it just in time. We've been wanting to go to a show there since our move in June of last year, but never got around to it. Avenue Q was showing and we booked tickets to opening night. I think we paid like $28 each, and our seats were in the second to last row. The place is so small that even though our seats were not great it felt like we were a part of the action. The show was awesome, the actors were great, and at intermission they sell $1 snacks and sodas. Love, love, love.
We need to go back to Society Fair. It looked like they had a small, but nice, dinner menu and I loved the fanciness of the place. Purple decor and crystal chandeliers is right up my alley. And because they are a part of the Eat Good Food Group, along with Restaurant Eve and Eamons, the food has gotta be good.
